Enjoy his Q&A!
Did you always know one day you’d start your own business?
Yes – 100%. I dreamed about starting my own business when I was a kid.
I used to sell candy on the school bus as a kid so I could afford to buy video games that I wanted to play. Going into high school, I was going around town and offering to make websites for businesses. In every job I’ve ever worked, I’ve known I wanted to be one that started it. My vision in life has always been to be a leader, which I believe is an important aspect of running a business.
According to Hubspot, 36% of marketers say the primary goal of their company’s video marketing efforts is to increase brand awareness and reach new audiences. What’s your best piece of advice for brands to maximize their video marketing efforts to achieve these goals?
My best piece of advice is to turn your video marketing into story-telling. 99% of people purchase based on emotions and not logic. Big companies don’t necessarily advertise their products directly anymore. A big drink company isn’t going to talk about how amazing their drink is, the taste of it, and so forth… they’re going to talk about the experience of having one of their drinks at a backyard BBQ with all of your friends and family around with the laughs and joy involved with it. There’s an emotional attachment behind that, and they’re telling a story.
Many people have that “Ah-ha!” moment when they discover their passion. When was yours?
My real passion is business. Paloma Studios is the start of my life-long portfolio of businesses that I’d like to get into. I have a passion for sales and marketing as they are so closely related. I’ve always been fascinated by marketing as there’s so much that goes into it. Since marketing directly helps companies generate more business and sales, I became passionate about it. My business partner, Gabriel Perez, is an amazing videographer with a creative mindset. We decided one day over a cup of coffee that if we put our heads together and pursue Paloma, we could take it to the next level.
What makes Paloma Studios unique? How can your services help a brand stand out in 2023 and beyond?

We work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and goals, and we are dedicated to supporting them every step of the way.
Can you share your favorite project you’ve worked on? What did you love most about it?
Our favorite project so far has been with FL Aviation Center. The team over at FL Aviation Center was absolutely amazing to work with. Plus, we were able to fly in planes all around the panhandle of Florida, on the coastlines and so much more. The amount of information we have been able to learn about aviation so far has been the most interesting part. There’s a wealth of knowledge that goes into aviation and it’s inspiring to see FL Aviation Center making the pilots of our next generation.
