What are you most excited about in your new role? I started with BBBS in March of 2020. Working to recruit Bigs during a pandemic was testing. I have raised millions of dollars and worked to connect folks through philanthropy for years, but asking businesses, employees, and community members to volunteer as mentors during the onset and continuing challenges of COVID has not been an easy task. Ultimately, I am excited to do a hybrid of both positions and have the official role of asking for support in the form of treasure OR time, depending on the donor’s wishes. Connecting our community is one of my passions and this job allows me to have the best of both worlds and help our mission to create lasting one-to-one relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth!
