PDQ, a Tampa-born quick-service restaurant chain, continues its international expansion with a second store in Kazakhstan and a planned location in Cairo.
This news comes after PDQ signed a franchise agreement with Dubai’s Eastern Investment Co. (EIC) which gives EIC the rights to own and operate PDQ restaurants across 40 countries in the Middle East and Africa.
PDQ, short for “People Dedicated to Quality,” opened for the first time in Tampa, FL in 2011. For the last 11 years, the company has expanded internationally, across Florida and into North Carolina, New Jersey, New York and South Carolina.
