University Area CDC Offers Free Cooking Classes

As part of the University Area CDC (Community Development Corporations)’s Get Moving Program, free Let’s Get Cookin’ classes are now available.

These cooking classes take place every other Friday from 10 – 11 a.m. at its Harvest Hope Center (13704 N. 20th Street, Tampa, FL 33613).

Below are the scheduled class dates:

Friday, March 25th, 2022
Friday, April 8th, 2022
Friday, April 22nd, 2022
Friday, May 13th, 2022
Friday, May 27th, 2022

The goal of the Let’s Get Cookin’ classes is to showcase the versatility of fresh vegetables when cooking. The vegetables used during class are picked from the Harvest Hope Community Garden.
