UT Students and Incubator Members to Compete in Startup Competition

UT Entrepreneurship School

The New Venture Exposition, hosted on April 22, will give more than 30 University of Tampa students and community members the chance to present their startup business concepts and win cash prizes. The event, hosted at the Lowth Entrepreneurship Center on UT’s campus, will take place between 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This exposition is free and open to the public.

Graduate and senior undergraduate students in University of Tampa’s Entrepreneurship program will present their ideas that they began developing at the beginning of the 2021-2022 academic school year. They will compete against the Spartan Incubator and Accelerator program members. Prizes will be awarded to winners in first, second and third place in the following categories: students (graduate and undergraduate) and Accelerator/Incubator participants. Winners will be chosen by the designated UT alumni judges.

The goal of this event is to educate students and the community about opportunities that the Lowth Center provides, while giving students the opportunity to accomplish their professional goals.
