Late last week, Accusoft announced the launch of the Women in Tech Scholarship that is geared toward female students who are pursuing a career in science, tech, engineering or mathematics (STEM).

The goal of launching this scholarship is to support women in STEM so they might find successful careers and help create a more diverse workforce. To this day, less than 27% of tech jobs are held by women and only 22% of Fortune 500 companies are led by women. 

We hope that our new scholarship will not only encourage women to go into the tech field but also to give them the resources to complete their degree,” said Jack Berlin, CEO of Accusoft in a press release. 

Students interested in applying must do so by May 29th, 2022 and they are required to be in their undergraduate programs, pursuing a two or four-degree. The winner will be announced on June 30, 2022.
