Dog lovers will go crazy over this weekend’s AKC Meet the Breeds event on April 23rd and 24th. The American Kennel Club’s extravaganza at the Tampa Convention Center is a two-day pup party where attendees of all ages are welcome to play with dogs and learn about the nuances of various breeds. 

Specific activities at this event include live demonstrations that will highlight the specific abilities of each breed, as well as performances presented by AKC Trick Dog, Central Florida Disc Dogs and the Florida Urban Search & Rescue Teams. Attendees will even have a chance to try a doggy obstacle course made for humans.
