Amazon.com, a company we all know and utilize, is expanding its facilities across the Sunshine State.
Amazon recently released that there will be a new facility located in Pasco County, this new plan includes 500,000 square-foot robotic sortations that will create 500 new jobs in the Tampa area.
This new method was released to the public at Pasco County Economic Development Council’s economic forecast luncheon in Wesley Chapel.
Amazon also announced there are opening a robotics center located in Tallahassee.
Amazon is expanding its presence in Florida by building six new buildings to bring operations closer to customers and making Amazon Prime a more reliable source to get packages quickly.
This new robotic fulfillment center and five new delivery stations opening will create more full-time jobs across the state.
