When you land on Daddy’s Chicken Shack’s website, you’re greeted with a picture of a mouth-watering fried chicken sandwich.
Next to that image is text that reads, “Southern comfort with a California flare, and double-dredged for perfect crispiness.”
You can almost hear the crunch of that crispy chicken, right?
Thanks to Florida businessman, Steven Nichols, Tampa residents won’t have to dream about taking a bite.
That’s because Nichols and his fiance, Jennifer Peterson, are set to open 10 units across Tampa, Clearwater, and Siesta Key.
Site selection for the first location is underway and the goal is to open these Florida locations by the summer of 2023.
“…I can speak for both Jennifer and I when I say we are honored to be joining such an established group of entrepreneurs, and we look forward to the months leading up to our opening.”
Hatching a New Business Idea
In 2018, chef Pace Webb shared her idea with her partner Chris Georgalas, on their first date.
From there, Daddy’s Chicken Shack was born and continues to grow beyond its original location in Pasadena, California.
No matter the state, the restaurant serves simple, high-quality ingredients to its customers.
Beyond its flavor-packed menu, Daddy’s Chicken Shack is a tech-focused company. Their front-end technology facilitates online ordering, app engagement, exclusive pick-up areas, and more to give its patrons the best experience possible.
Nichols and Peterson are also securing additional franchisees for the remaining sites in their market.
Ideal franchisees candidates should:
– Have previous restaurant experience
– Have a desire to provide quality, fresh ingredients to customers
– Leverage an unforgettable experience in bringing people together
– Understand and align with the brand’s values of bringing sunshine to communities by honoring inclusivity, good food, and a memorable guest experience.
