The University of South Florida recently announced a generous donation from Diamond View Studios and Vū Technologies to USF’s College of Arts and Sciences.
The gift, used to support virtual production education and training in the Zimmerman School of Advertising & Mass Communications, included an in-kind contribution of state-of-the-art virtual production equipment valued at $500,000. This furnished the USF Tampa’s production studio with a 40-foot LED wall for virtual production.
The endowment from Diamond View also allows USF to innovate the video production curriculum and expand student access to video production training.
The USF Vū Studio, named in honor of Diamond View’s sister company Vū Technologies, had a ribbon-cutting on October 22.
