The Tampa-famous La Segunda Bakery & Café is making its way across the bridge to St.Petersburg this month. The restaurant, located at 2436 4th Street North, is slated for a March 21st grand opening.
La Segunda, known for “baking history in South Tampa and Ybor everyday,” is the largest producer of Cuban bread in the world. Since 1915, they’ve been crafting fresh sandwiches, salads and pastries in their Tampa locations.
Their third location in St.Pete will focus on takeout orders, deliveries and catering. La Segunda’s 1,820-square-foot store seats 40 indoors with an additional 28 seats available outdoors on their pet-friendly patio. Following their grand opening on March 21st, La Segunda St.Petersburg will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.
