The Westshore Alliance, a membership-based organization for community leaders of Tampa’s Westshore District, has named a new Executive Director for 2022. Michael Maurino, the organization’s former Director of Transportation and Planning will lead the group’s initiatives going into the New Year. He takes over for Ann Kulig who was previously in this role for 6 years.
According to Maurino’s LinkedIn, he is “a City of Tampa appointee to the Hillsborough County City County Planning Commission, and member of the Hillsborough MPO’s Livable Roadways Committee.” Additionally Michael “brings more than a decade of experience in government relations and advocating for policies and projects, including transportation improvement strategies.”
As Executive Director of the Westshore Alliance, Maurino will lead the organization’s efforts in keeping the community connected on key trends and business issues taking place in the Westshore District and across Tampa Bay. As a part of the alliance, members have the opportunity to engage with key decision makers and be a part of the future growth within our city.
