Water Street Tampa is getting a new restaurant addition in December of this year. The Pearl, tavern and oyster room, will feature a menu full of delicious entrees, shareable items, and of course seasonal oysters. Food items will be complemented by crafted cocktails, a thoughtful wine list, and various beers.

Cameron Mitchell Restaurants, founders of Tampa-famous Ocean Prime, are spearheading this concept. The Pearl Tampa will be the first of its kind in Florida for the restaurant group. The brand previously opened locations in both Columbus and Dublin, Ohio.  

In a press release, shared in 2021, Cameron Mitchell Restaurants’ founder, Cameron Mitchell stated that  “We have been incredibly successful with Ocean Prime Tampa since opening in 2009 at International Plaza and look forward to continuing to deliver genuine hospitality and creating amazing experiences for our guests at The Pearl as well.”
