Tampa’s Ybor City District is getting a ‘sweet’ upgrade with the addition of Mayday Handcrafted Ice Creams at 1600 E 8th Avenue.
The grand opening of this ice cream shop is set for Wednesday, March 16 from 6 – 10 p.m.
This will be the eighth store the St. Augustine-based company opens in Florida.
In a recent news release, Mayday’s owner and operator Stephen DiMare stated, “Offering handcrafted, artisan ice cream is just an extension of all of the cool stuff already going on in that neighborhood. Tampa is a fun city with a young, energetic population. We know that Mayday Handcrafted Ice Creams will quickly become woven into the fabric that is Ybor City.”
Guests attending the grand opening event will receive a free small sugar cone with one scoop of any flavor of ice cream. Not to mention the first 25 people in line will receive swag bags.
Mayday scoops over 20 artisan flavors including Blueberry Toast Crunch, Bourbon Pecan, Coffee + Donuts, Key Lime Pie, and many more!
