USF Tampa General Physicians Names New President

Today, Mark G. Moseley, MD, MHA, FACEP will assume the position of President of the USF Tampa General Physicians, a newly formed academic medical group. The group, launched in January 2022, provides management and support services for USF Health and Tampa General Medical Group. Their goal is to develop the Bay Area’s medical offerings and physician recruitment to create overall world-class patient care in our community. 

Prior to landing his new role, Moseley serving Tampa as the chief clinical officer of USF Health, associate vice president of USF Health, and vice dean for Clinical Affairs at USF Health Morsani College of Medicine. He will continue in his teaching roles while serving as president of the physicians group.

With his deep familiarity of the faculty practice plan and decades of experience in academic health and clinical operations, Dr. Moseley will bring immense value to the role at this critical juncture,” said Charles Lockwood, MD, senior vice president of USF Health and dean of the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine via a press release. “As USF Tampa General Physicians grows, Dr. Moseley’s vision and exemplary leadership will be needed to further our mission of providing unparalleled patient care to our region.”
