Washlava, a technology company based in Tampa, is updating the shared laundry experience at their flagship Carrollwood store. The updates made within the store will focus on both consumer experience and sustainability. The laundry center, that originally opened in May of 2015, is located at 11819 N Armenia Ave, Tampa, FL 33612.
The store will close beginning December 1, 2021 for enhancements with the highly anticipated reopening set for February 1, 2022.
Washlava, the only differentiated consumer experience in the laundry category, provides a coin and card-free process for customers including machine reservations, customized promotions, and live cycle status updates. In addition, store visitors at any of their locations benefit from less time waiting for clothes to be cleaned and an overall upgraded experience.
Since its establishment, the company has created a great deal of buzz within the technology space. Washlava recently closed a $9 million round of funding among investors like Jacksonville-based Monterey Private Capital, Tampa’s David A. Straz Jr. Foundation, and LG Electronics.
When asked about the planned Carrollwood remodel, Washlava’s Founder, Todd Belveal, shared that “Reloaded Store Holdings will build its first optimal store design in partnership with Washlava Services. I look forward to planting the seeds for a massive nationwide retail laundry rollup under the best shared laundry technology ever built.”
