It’s reported that Americans eat around three billion pizzas a year. And, Fat Boy’s Pizza, a New Orleans-based fast-casual pizza franchise is continuing to contribute to that jaw-dropping statistic by expanding into the Tampa market.

Fat Boy’s Pizza came to be when Gabe Corchiani and his wife, Karen, opened the doors of their first location in New Orleans. Since then, they’ve opened six new locations throughout Louisiana and Mississippi and are excited to announce their expansion into the Tampa Bay market with a plan for 10 new locations.

“Tampa is a large, diverse market that can easily accommodate at least ten locations that will allow our brand to build brand awareness, management, and supply chain efficiencies,” said Corchiani.

But, what makes Fat Boy’s Pizza different from other pizza places?

For starters, it lives up to its tagline Size Matters as it boasts the World’s Biggest Slice and is known for its 30-inch pizzas!

However, they serve up more than mouth-watering New York-style pies. They also offer a full bar and delicious appetizers like garlic knots, mozzarella logs, and in true, Fat Boy’s Pizza fashion where size always matters, a jumbo soft pretzel.

Beyond serving quality food and experiences to its patrons, this family-oriented brand places an emphasis on the community through philanthropic and fundraising efforts with local organizations.

Now, from the Big Easy to the Sunshine State, Corchiani is actively seeking operators with proven restaurant experience and the ability to develop multiple units in the Tampa market.
