Tampa Catholic High School is a leader in the education of boys and girls and is part of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Saint Petersburg.
The esteemed high school recently unveiled its brand-new Fieldhouse named after NBA player and 2017 graduate, Kevin Knox II.
The $6 million state-of-the-art Kevin Knox II Fieldhouse was made possible thanks to his generous donation of $2 million and the donations from John and Lydia Oliva and the Prado family.
Knox II, a current Atlanta Hawks player, was inspired to give back to his alma mater because of the values his parents instilled in him growing up as well as the time he spent learning from Don Dziagwa, his high school coach.
In an article, Knox II was quoted saying, “Tampa Catholic gave me two gifts that go with me on the court and in life. Coach Dziagwa allowed and encouraged me to grow as a leader and the school as a whole gave me an education that created more awareness of the world around me.”
The Kevin Knox II Fieldhouse is 10,500 square feet and is home to:
- Coach Don Dziagwa Court
- John & Lydia Oliva Fitness Center
- Prado Family Hall of Fame Promenade
